Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT)

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) was one of the great scientific discoveries of the twentieth century. Dr. William Sutherland found that the brain, and spinal cord have a slight gentle motion which has a profound effect on how the central nervous system works.

Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) adds the critical aspects of fascia, and dental issues to his work. The fascia is a full body connective tissue web that can apply tremendous pressure to the nerves, muscles, organs, and bones. The power of CFT revolves around the integration of hands-on procedures that facilitate healing without drugs, vitamins, supplements, technology, or surgery. A freely moving brain and unrestricted fascia are a must for all newborns, children, and adults.

The Baby Brain Score (BBS)

In 2006, Dr. Barry Gillespie created the Baby Brain Score (BBS). This screening tool quickly assesses brain function in the first few minutes of life.

A compromised score alerts birth professionals to the need for immediate CFT. We believe that the effects of fetal and birth traumas can be mitigated at the beginning of life to create optimal brain function, prevent many diseases, and avert a lifetime of suffering.

What a great gift for a human being!

Even though CFT can be beneficial at any age, our primary goal is for prevention with the use of the BBS and CFT for every newborn worldwide.

Prenatal, Postpartum, Newborn/Infant Treatment

Prenatal treatments can be done throughout all trimesters to support body awareness, increase relaxation, and comfort throughout all the growth stages, and after birth. I have a pregnancy body pillow system that allows you to lay on your stomach safely, side lying position, or a reclining position for your comfort. Support and prepare yourself, your body, and your baby for the processes of labor and delivery. Set yourself up for a healthy birth experience.

Newborn/Postpartum treatments for mom & baby throughout the 4th trimester (0-4 months) are to help correct any strains from pregnancy, to support mom’s body for a healthy recovery in her motherhood journey, support healthy lactation, latch, and nursing for mom and baby, and to release any residual birth traumas to mom’s body as well as baby’s body to support a healthy adaption to the new world outside of the womb .

~The Ideal treatment plan for newborns, and moms is for CFT treatments as often as possible in the first 2-4 weeks until there are no strains/injuries present in either individual. This is essential, especially for the brain and central nervous system health with the baby’s molding of their cranial bones during labor and birth, as well as mom’s abdomen, and pelvis from pregnancy and childbirth, to help support healing from the labor/birth experience itself, and support healthy digestion, and assimilation in both mom & baby as mom’s internal organs find their way back to their rightful places! This will in turn will support the making of healthy balanced breast milk!

Lymphatic Balancing

Uses light hand movements and/or massage Cups to open and increase the flow of the lymphatic system (our cleansing system), and draw put excess or old lymph fluid from deep within tissues, back to the lymphatic system to be recycled and flushed out. It can be used for acute or chronic congestion & stagnation, post injury, and pre/post surgical procedures to reduce fluid retention and edema. Great for sprains and strains, bruising and fluid retention.

Reiki Energy Work

( pronounced RAY-key means “Universal Life Force energy”)

Subtle energy work that stimulates and increases your bodies own innate healing processes. It diminishes pain and imbalances in the body, mind and spirit. It can be done hands-on or off, over clothing, casts, and braces. Great for Arthritis, injuries, and pre/post operative care. Babies & Animals love this one too! It can be done as its own treatment or in conjunction with therapeutic massage treatments.
